A CONSPIRACY THE OIL COMPANIES ARE CREATING
FINALLY DIESEL CARS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL OF US IN MOST PRICE RANGES, AND WE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONSERVE OUR FUEL. THE OIL COMPANIES ARE CLAIMING TO HELP US, WHILE MAKING RECORD PROFITS. BY RAISING THE PRICE OF DIESEL OVER 60% HIGHER THEN THE COUNTERPART (GASOLINE) ARE DOING EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO GUARANTEE THE FAILURE OF NEW, AND MORE ECONOMICAL DIESELS.
IN THE LOS ANGELES AREA, PREMIUM GAS IS ABOUT $4.33, AND DIESEL IS $5.15
THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE.
IF THIS IS NOT A CONSPIRACY, THEN WHAT IS IT?

THE FUTURE OF OUR ECONOMY IF WE DO NOT WAKE UP
The time has come for us to take control of our future, and our lives. I hear a lot of people complaining about our economy, jobs, and the direction our economy is generally heading. Obviously when a country consumes more than it is producing, that not only affects the economy in jobs, but it directly relates to the value of their currency.
If we do not support our economy, we should not expect the economy to be able to take care of us.

LOSS OF PRODUCTIVITY AND IN THE PROCESS DEVALUEING THE DOLLAR
In our daily lives, we are using so much imports whether, it is the car we are driving, the electronics we use at home or in our businesses, the utensils we have, the clothing we wear, etc, that in the process we are forgetting what this type of consumption does to the health of our economy, which directly affects all of us. Future predictions advise that in the near future the stock market from China will out perform the U.S.. The economy in China continues to grow approximately at the rate of 20% annually while ours is stagnating.
It is a shame that we are helping to create this, and that we are willing to sacrifice our standard of living in the process.
The good thing is that we don’t have to blame the government, or business, because we have the opportunity to change it through our purchases.
I feel that if we don’t do something soon we are jeopardizing one of the most important parts of our economy, (the middle class) which is shrinking everyday, while we watch other countries with economies growing anywhere from 5% to 20% per anum.

PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN LABOR AND INDUSTRY
There should be a partnership between big corporation and work force. In the process of rebuilding businesses, the average worker has been asked to do a lot of sacrifices, whether it is financial, medical or job security. I think big companies instead of giving incredible amounts of money in bonuses or severances to the executives that may or may not have done a good job in the re-structure of the company, should share profits between all the people involved in the success of the business. This in turn increases productivity and morale. We should never forget that the middle class is the backbone of any economy.

FREE TRADE CAN NO LONGER WORK, WE NEED FAIR TRADE
It is time to start focusing more on fair trade instead of free-trade. To be able to be competitive in today’s world, we cannot be sacrificing industries to countries that do not allow us the ability to trade with the same rules extended to them or to countries that subsidize their exports, and pegged their currency to ours.
We should also expect those countries to give the same human rights to their workers that we give to ours.

GLOBAL ISSUES SHOULD BE HANDLED BY THE U.N. IT IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE U.S.
In the past four years, we have spent hundreds of billions of dollars in a war in Afghanistan and Iraq, and worse yet loosing and maiming thousands of our Youth. If we are going to police the world, we should get paid for it, should not have to come off the back of the Tax payers. We should use our money to improve schools, roads, medical, etc.
We can not longer afford to take care of the world and all of its problems.

HEALTHCARE IS A NECESSITY
All citizens in the U.S. should be able to get free medical, and dental care as well as prescriptions. Especially citizens age 55 and older who had paid all their lives into the system should be entitled to healthcare.
It is unbelievable that our pharmaceutical companies are selling medications for pennies on a dollar to Canada vs. the U.S. There should be some control to make the system fair for all consumers.
There are too many people in our country without health benefits, because it is not affordable. Many companies that have paid for employees’ healthcare are now making them subsidize part of it. As businesses and industries leave the U.S. they also leave a vast amount of people without healthcare. We (the U.S.) must do something about this.
There is a way to raise funds fairly for all people, by adding some type of transportation tax. Whereby, people that can afford more expensive travel will be paying a larger percentage into it, than the one’s that are on a limited income and cannot afford such luxuries.
